Take your winter wardrobe to the next level!

WHO SAYS WINTER HAS TO BE DREARY....
Personalise it! Dark denims paired with a bright shade of your choice in a coat and shoes to match, choose a top bag and hat in the same hue as your brighter shade but lighter..eg.try cobalt blue as the bright shade and baby blue as the light shade..or bottle green and neon green..your choice have fun..but stick to a max of 3 colours and no more which includes one neutral to look like you were born a true fashionista!

This is a combination most women should have in their wardrobes..again make this style your own! Try a polo neck or any long sleeved shirt of your choice with a shawl, pashmina, throw etc. Paired with nude heels and pants...this has the effect of lengthening your legs..perfect for a petite frame..ensure your pash isn't too large to get the proportions just right to complement your smaller body frame.

I love this look..the orange platforms can be swopped again for nude heels, and says laid back yet smart enough with the addition of gold jewellery.

Asymmetrical cut tops and jackets are all the rage, get them in a neutral colour and you have a style that can be worn for more than just one season!

Skinny jeans or jeggings..teamed with your faithful striped t-shirt..hint.stripes are a classic so consider investing in good quality one and follow your wash and care instructions to the T;) converse style sneakers have made a huge comeback and all retail stores are stocking their version of it..neon colours..studs..metallic..choose a  style that suits you and if you really love them go for the classics!

Prints are still parading the catwalk but if you are like me..you would prefer to go for a print that will stand the test of time if you are going to spend a hefty amount on a good quality printed coat..check..stripes..and houndstooth in neutral colours would be fashion and saving savvy!

Light blue denims with a white wash are a stunner with white tops in cotton, chiffon or knits..team this combo with gold, beige or tan for an elegant look.

This colour combo is sure to suit every skintone yet not as widely recognised or used..try plum, lilac or grape  with grey.

Bottle green and yellow is yet another rare combo...also try mustard and chocolate brown, teal green with yellow , neon green with tan or beige or navy blue and yellow,..also see navy blue and pink below..

Remember you can always stick to neutrals if you want to and add colour by accesorising...go for items that have multiple uses if you want more looks..such as t's, denims, jackets, waistcoats, beanies, belts (can be bright and used multiple times-talk about bang for your buck!) in neutral tones with a pop of colour through your scarves, shawls etc but don't be afraid to step out of the dark and into the bright!
