Summer is finally hereeeeee! I totally have a love/hate relationship with this season. I love the beach, dresses, ice cream, carnivals and the list can go on. I do however hate the super hot weather and humidity that comes along with it. This is why I have made a list of my top summer dresses for this season!! When it's this hot, I do not want to wear multiple layers. I always try to find one piece dresses that are long sleeves and floor length or at least midi length! Here are my top 8 favs!

1. Stripes Floral (Zara)

This is my favorite out of all of them. Zara always has the best long sleeve maxi's. They are a little steep in price but always worth it. I wore it to a bridal shower and plan on wearing it this summer. You can wear it as a dress, a cardigan or even with jeans.

2. Beach Stripes (She In
I'm in love with this stripes trend this seasons. Wear it with this belt or your own funky belt. Pair it with a fun hat and you're ready for the beach!
3.  Bohemian Green (She In)

This is perfect for a night out. Comfortable especially for those hot summer nights. Pair it with heels and bold lip!
4.  Floral Fun (Zara)

Another Zara favorite. I really love all their dresses. Can never go wrong!

5. Abstract White (Forever 21)

I recently saw this and Forever and almost bought it of myself. I then realized I have similar pieces so I held off. If you don't have a white bohemian dress, definitely invest in this one!

6. Ruffle Wrap (Target)

I'm really tempted to get this and I just might. This is super classy and would look amaze with simple strap heels, black hijab and a red lip!
7. Beach Blue (Target)

I've had this for a while and finally will be able to wear this at the beach this coming weekend. Look out for it on my insta;)
8. Flowy Floral (Windsor)

Lastly, my sis rocked this beautiful dress. This is perfect for any bridal or baby shower you have to attend this weekend!

Hope you liked my picks! Can't wait to see everyones looks!

Dress: H&M // Jeans & Bag: Forever 21 // Shoes: Zara // Scarf: Aldo // Jacket: She Inside // Watch: Daniel Wellington
One item you'll definitely see me wearing this spring and summer is the midi dress! They're really comfortable and most importantly very modest. After the baby, it's been hard adjusting and losing weight so this dress is my go to piece. They can be styled really easily too. I usually wear this with boyfriend jeans or tights. When it is a little chilly I like to throw on a leather jacket or even a duster coat. I love layering with a trench or duster coat cause it gives an illusion of looking taller too--which is key for my short 5'2 self, lol. Here are some of my other looks with my midi obsession!

Jeans & Shoes: Zara // Coat: Forever 21 // Bag: Steve Madden @ TJ maxx
I know it may not seem like spring these days but apparently it is here. This is definitely one of the longest winters, but alhamdulilah it is slowly getting warmer. In the honor of first week of spring, I picked five spring trends from the runway that are wearable everyday and super easy to find in stores.

Pastel Coat

Pastels are the perfect transition from winter to spring. My favorite pastel is this beautiful pink. I found this adorable light jacket from Forever 21 on sale! Pastels usually look good with neutrals such black, white, taupe, beige and sometimes jeans. Here are some similar:

Suede Piece
Suede jacket: H&M // Dress: Joyce Leslie // Lilac scarf: TJ maxx // Boots: Cotton On

I love me some suede especially in this western tan color. This is new for this season after many years but was everywhere on the runway and now in stores. My next purchase is definitely one of these suede vests:D

Fringe Top
pair this with black skinnies or boyfriend jeans

If you haven't already figured out, this spring has a lot of 70s and Hippie culture influence. This trend, I feel, is a little tricky. Not all types of fringe look good and can sometimes look costume-y. You don't want to have too much fringe. There should be more of the top then the actual length of the fringe, like the one above. Here are some of my favorites.

 Gingham Pants

I loveeeee this print! Mainly because its black and white and goes with really anything! This print can be worn as a blouse but I love it in pants. I saw a beautiful pair at Urban the other day that I might just have to go back and get. Here are some different ones.

 A Pop of Yellow
Sweater dress: Zara // Jeans: Forever 21 // Shoes: H&M // Clutch: Thrift
Last but not least, you can't have spring without some sunny yellow. I personally do not like yellow as a hijab but I do like it in my accessories. If you're like me and do not like so much color, then a pop of it like with this clutch is perfect!
